Brazilian Dances

These sessions are packed with: Afoxe, Samba reggae, Coco, Danza dos Arcos, Cavalo Marinho and of course Maracatu.

We will be  working with some technique, developing choreographies in Maracatu, Samba reggae and Afoxe, and generally having a good dance!

   When, Wednesdays at 19.00: 

July (please note the change of time and venue). 

• July (1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd)
• Live music session on 29th with Drum and Blaze (venue tbc)

 

September (back in our winter venue – BHASVIC Drama Studio)

• September (16th, 23rd, 30th)
• October (7th, 14th)
• November (4th, 11th, 18th, 25th)
• December (9th, 16th)

     

    Where:

• From September to April, sessions will take place at BHASVIC Drama Studio, 205 Dyke Road. Brighton BN3 6EG
• Live music sessions: Session on 13th May will be at The Skep, Moulsecoomb Place 
• From June to July, sessions will take place  at  St. Ann’s Well Sensory Gardens (Somerhill Rd. entrance) 18.30 to 19.00 (catch up skills) 19.00 to 20.00 Main session

How much: £9 drop in; £40 per 5 week-course

Please bring water and comfortable clothes.
