Trained as a Political Scientist and Sociologist with in depth experience in research, project management and community development, Rosaria has been an Associate Lecturer for the Open University since 2009. She is also Visiting Researcher for the Department of Wellbeing, Education and Language Studies (WELS), Monitor, Forums Moderator, Lecturer representative at Production teams, and STEM consultant.
She is currently teaching the following courses:
Since 2013, she has worked as specialist qualitative researcher for the OU in various projects involving the role of women professionals in STEM careers. In 2019 she joined a team of researchers in partnership of Universities, looking at the impact of physical activity, mostly dancing and walking, on older adults, and people with Dementias and their carers.
